Expressions of interest - Opera Australia's Regional Children's Chorus Program
As part of the 2025 See It Live Theatre Season, Rockhampton Regional Council is bringing Opera Australia’s La Boheme to the Pilbeam Theatre on Tuesday, 29 July 2025. The Regional Children’s Chorus Program is included in the National Tour. This program provides the opportunity for 4 – 15 children (aged 9 – 14) to participate in Opera Australia’s (OA) production of La Boheme.

We are seeking expressions of interest for the following:

  • Choir Leader
  • Children aged 9-14 years

CHOIR LEADER
Expressions of interest are open for a local Choir Leader to prepare the chorus.

CHILDRENS CHORUS
Children between the age of 9 and 14 years have the opportunity to be part of Opera Australia’s production of La Boheme, when it tours to Rockhampton in July. The program provides a quality music and learning experience or those involved. Participants will be taught by a local choir leader and will rehearse regularly in the lead up to the performance.
