Crafts Session with Fibre Arts

Felt Teddy Bear Making with Rosslyn McKendry of The Embroiders Guild
Dates: Thursday 26th September
Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm

Ages: 6-10 years
Activity: Children will be taught how to make a Teddy Bear with Wool Fibres. Each bear has its own special character, and they make ideal gifts and keepsakes for friends and loved ones.

Stitches with Anne Stewart of The Embroiders Guild
Dates: Thursday 26th September
Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm
Cost: $5 Per Person
Ages: 10 years+
Activity: Children will work with a variety of materials and embellishments to create a sample of embroidery stitches with Anne Stewart.

Colourful Body Portraits with CQ Contemporary Artists
Dates: Friday 27th September
Time: 10am - 11:30am & 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Cost: $20 Per Person
Ages: 5-12 years
Description: Create a full size coloured portrait of your body and add decorations with patterns and objects that have special meaning, to tell a unique story about you

5 Days Jewellery Making Workshop with the Rockhampton Lapidary Club
Dates: Monday 23rd - 27th September
Time: 9:00am -11:30am
Cost: $35 Per Person
Ages: 10-15 years+
Activity: Children will learn how to design and make their own jewellery. After the 5 day workshop, children will have made 5 or 6 pieces of jewellery to take home with them.

Make a Paper Printer's Hat with the Officiana Athelstane
